Silent Shores Estates is located within the Western Boone School District in Boone County Indiana. The Corporation includes two elementary schools which feed into the Junior-Senior High. Children residing at Silent Shores attend Thorntown Elementary from Kindergarten through grade six. The school is located just 5 minutes from the lake and has an average enrollment of 65 students per grade level. Older children attend Western Boone Jr. Sr. High School from grades 7-12. The school is accredited by the North Central Association and offers a full curriculum of academic and vocational courses as well as Core 40 and Honors Diplomas.
